Clarkson Suspended From ‘Top Gear’ After Dust-Up With Producer

Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson, the celebrity version of that one uncle who makes family gatherings awkward by getting drunk and slurring racist jokes at you, may have finally gone too far.
Overnight, it was announced that the controversial 54-year-old presenter had been suspended from his job at the BBC, following reports of a mysterious “fracas” with a producer.
Neither Clarkson nor the BBC have made any further statements about what happened, but network have released a statement saying that the regular weekly edition of Top Gear will not go to air this week.
The presenter was given a “final warning” by the BBC last year, after footage of a racist tirade surfaced online. At the time, he apologised, and acknowledged he would likely be sacked if he made “one more offensive remark.”
Clarkson’s greatest racist hits are may and varied, but over the years, he has been pulled up for comments about Burmese, Malaysian, Mexican, German and Indian people.
One time, he punched Piers Morgan, although we’ve all kind of wanted to do that at some point, so that may be neither here nor there.
We await further comment from Clarkson.
