Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another remake of a classic fairytale that I will absolutely watch because I am a small child on the inside? Yes! It’s Cinderella time!

Amazon Prime Video has unleashed the teaser for its modern retelling of Cinderella, starring Camila Cabello in the titular role.

In the teaser for the live-action flick, Cabello can be seen sitting at a sewing machine, designing her own dresses.

“This is it, soon everyone will know my name. Dresses by Ella,” Cabello’s Cinderella says.

“Life outside the basement starts now.”

Interesting.

The singer’s vocals can also be heard in the teaser as viewers are whisked away into a faraway land where the spectacular Idina Menzel (Frozen) stars as Cinderella’s stepmother and the always wonderful Billy Porter (Pose) is Fab G, a genderless fairy godparent.

“Do you want to go to that ball?” Fab G asks Cinderella.

“Yes, I was just crying and singing about it like two minutes ago,” she answers.

Yeah, I’m going to need to watch this movie right now.

The film costars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Robert, Pierce Brosnan as King Rowan, and Minnie Driver as Queen Beatrice. I also spotted James Corden in the movie because that man loves to insert himself into every film he can.

He and John Mulaney both star as Cinderella’s mice mates who become footmen for her carriage to the ball.

Cabello tweeted the teaser overnight, telling fans, “#CinderellaMovie this was one of the most magical experiences of my life. I can’t wait for you to see it.”

Cinderella premieres September 3 on Amazon Prime Video.

It honestly looks like so much fun, I’M KEEN.

Also, if Cabello’s boo Shawn Mendes doesn’t at least cameo in Cinderella in some shape or form I’ll be shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED. As my colleague Louie very accurately pointed out this morning, those two are joined at the hip, and have been since they played tonsil tennis on Instagram all that time ago.

I still have nightmares about it.
