Chris Pratt and Anna Faris straight-up shattered our faith in true love when they announced their separation in August of this year, and now, Faris is said to be “furious” after reports emerged that her ex is dating actress Olivia Munn.
According to news and current affairs publication OK! Magazine, the pair have been dating on the down-low for several months, and have caught pretty serious feelings for one another. An anonymous source, the best kind of source, said:
“It started as a convenient rebound but blossomed into something very real and exciting. Chris and Olivia have a genuine connection … She and Chris really like each other. They both want to see where it goes.”
The plot thickens somewhat in that Munn was actually a guest on Anna Faris’ Unqualified podcast in April of 2016, where the pair talked about the possibility of her being Chris Pratt’s “dream woman”, an awkward conversation in retrospect.
When Munn said that she would consider getting an eagle tattooed on her back, Faris replied:
“Oh my God. You’re my husband’s dream woman. My husband loves eagles. I’m like ‘honey, isn’t that a little on the nose?’”
While still with their former spouses, Chris Pratt and Olivia Munn were guests on The Late Late Show With James Corden in December 2016, and the host asked if they were all “friendly as couples”, to which Mun responded:
“Yes! We hung out when we were both shooting in Atlanta. Went over to their house. There’s fishing, barbecuing. Their son Jack is adorable.”
Last month, Pratt “amicably” filed for divorce from Faris, ending their eight-year marriage four months after they announced their separation. The pair reportedly have settlements related to property and the custody of their five-year-old son “almost completely worked out.”
Faris is reportedly “furious” and feels “betrayed” at the rumours of her former husband dating Munn, although OK!’s anonymous source went on to claim that Munn “wasn’t fazed by Anna” and “didn’t care” what anyone thought of the rumoured relationship.
