Ten months after they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in California, it appears that Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their first child together.
While there has been no official announcement as yet, PEOPLE claims that multiple unnamed sources have confirmed the news, and if you can’t trust an unnamed source, who can you trust?
The child will the first for Schwarzenegger, while Chris Pratt has a seven-year-old son named Jack with his ex-wife, actress Anna Faris.
The couple said that they were keen to expand their family “as soon as possible” after getting married, and Pratt has previously spoken about the joys of fatherhood.
In a 2014 interview with Variety, he said:
“I’ve done all kinds of cool things as an actor. I’ve jumped out of helicopters and done some daring stunts and played baseball in a professional stadium. But none of it means anything compared to being somebody’s daddy.”
The idea of Chris Pratt “being somebody’s daddy” kinda makes me feel funny but that’s a separate issue.
Katherine’s dad Arnold Schwarzenegger has said that he is excited to become a grandfather, telling Extra: “I don’t push it because I know it’s going to happen eventually. It’s up to Chris and her when they want to do that. I’m looking forward it to, yes.”
