In some actual good news for 2021: Great hunk o’ spunk Chris Hemsworth and his partner Elsa Pataky are rumoured to be packing up their Byron Bay mansion and moving to Sydney (perfect timing, not!)
Last month, we reported that the couple were looking to sell their $30 million dollar property in Byron. You know the mansion that looks like an actual Westfield?
Well, according to realestate.com.au, the $50 million mansion Hemsworth’s looking at in Sutherland Shire is just as lavish. The property is decked out with a swimming pool, bowling alley, two bars, three commercial lifts, an archery range, a 20-car garage, Turkish steam room, a day spa, private beach, marina and even a wine tasting room.
Who cares about lockdown when you’re rich, right?
The McMansion has been dubbed “Australia’s finest house” and it’s easy to why, it’s fucking YUUGGEEE. Yep, seven bedrooms and 19 bathrooms to be exact. No that’s not a typo, it really has 19 BATHROOMS.
The tip off that the couple have been inspecting the property comes from Sarah McGilvary of NOVAFM’s Fitzy and Wippa show. Apparently they’ve scoped it out several times, which goes to show how keen they are.
“Chris Hemsworth, this is awesome… he’s been house hunting and I’ve had a tip-off from someone,” McGilvary told Fitzy and Wippa on Friday.
“I have it on good authority that he’s been there, two to three times.”
The property known as the Condon Estate was also inspected by a number of other Byron Bay celebrities – as well as several loaded couples from Melbourne and Sydney.
