Paul Feig has already broken the mould in a pretty magnificent fashion for his female-driven Ghostbusters reboot. So why not go the whole hog and flip all the gender roles on their head while you’re at it?
Along with the core cast of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, Feig today revealed another new addition to the cast, in the Australian born and bred, Mjölnir-swinging, Asgard-representin’, professional handsome person Chris Hemsworth.
Feig used ole’ faithful Twitter to break the news a short time ago, as you are wont to do in this modern work-a-day world of ours.

Who knows if Feig is actually serious when he says that Hemsworth has been cast as the Ghostbusters’ receptionist.
But if Hemmo has an over-pronounced, nasally Queens accent in him, then we say just feed him all of Annie Potts‘ old lines verbatim and let the lols start rolling in.
