Avengers stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are being all cute with each other on Twitter, this time by comparing themselves and their friendship to iconic Disney ones in the animated universe.

‘Cos a bromance like theirs ultimately survives the unfortunate broken relationship between Captain America (Evans) and IronMan (Downey).
Avengers 4 is currently in production so the two are spending just a tad bit of time together. Though we don’t know how these Disney antics got started off the line, Downey kicked things off online by comparing himself and Evans to a picture of Bambi and Faline from Bambi II.
The resemblance? Uncanny.
Downey captioned the post: “All the way down to the eye colour.”

Evans replied to the beautiful comparison with the words: “What can I say? The man knows me.”
However, he wasn’t finished because in the hours following Evans produced his own sweet Disney comparison and in my opinion, dialled things right up, by comparing their friendship to best-friends-for-life Woody and Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story series.
Evans captioned his post: “One good Disney reference deserves another.”

Downey has previously shared some delightful Evans content with his 11.5 million Twitter followers. Most recently Downey shared a meme worth an absolute chuckle and a half.

Meanwhile, Evans revealed a (sadly) beardless Captain America a little while ago – that beautiful beard you see above? GONE.
Note the fresh but old uniform and Evans’ dog Dodger looking very displeased with his hooman’s selfie game.

Avengers 4 is expected to make people shed a few tears again come April/May 2019.
