Singer Chris Brown is currently in a standoff with Los Angeles Police Department at his home, after a woman called 911 saying he had pointed a gun at her.
While the story is still emerging, there are conflicting reports saying some friends – including Ray J – were at Brown’s home, but left after some ‘uninvited guests’ appeared in the house.
Shortly after, the woman called the police, telling officers Brown had threatened her with a weapon following an argument.
Brown allegedly denied police entry to his home, and told police to obtain a search warrant for the reported gun.
The LAPD are now in the process of obtaining the search warrant, and a SWAT team has arrived at his home.
Brown, meanwhile, is posting videos to Instagram saying he was “asleep half the night”, and woke up to find helicopters and police outside his home. In one video, he concludes with,
“Black Lives Matter. Fuck the police.”
In the last post, he actually takes the opportunity, while police are outside his home, to spruik his new track:
TMZ is reporting that at this current time, Brown is still inside the house – police are knocking, but no one is responding.
UPDATE: Fox 10 is reporting that ‘half a dozen’ people were escorted from Brown’s home, and are now being interviewed by police.
