Chloe Grace Moretz and her family have been granted a restraining order against an obsessed fan who showed up at their home twice in the space of 24 hours, hoping to meet her.

According to reports in TMZ, the 18-year-old man was a repeated “unknown trespasser” at the family property, and first showed up there last week.

Court documents indicate that the man jumped a fence and began “violently banging on the doors and windows of the residence to attempt to gain access to [Moretz] or her family.”

The family called police, who removed the fan from the premises, but allegedly, he returned the following day and did the same thing again.

The star’s brother Brandon Moretz filed for a restraining order on behalf of her family last Wednesday, and the 18-year-old now faces two felony stalking charges.

Chloe Grace Moretz is not the only high profile celebrity to be harassed by a stalker in recent times.

Yesterday, it was reported that a fan broke into Channing Tatum‘s vacant house and lived there for ten days, claiming to be a maid when an employee discovered her there.

Tatum took out a restraining order against the woman, fearing for the safety of his family and employees, including estranged wife Jenna Dewan.
