Chk Chk Boom Girl Covers Ralph (The End Is Nigh)

You crazy for this one Australia. In her valiant quest to squeeze an extra minute from her allotted fifteen, Chk Chk Boom girl Clare Werbeloff has the distinction of being Ralph Magazine’s final cover star following announcements of the magazine’s closure earlier this month. Cue the most obvious coverline in magazine history…

You can see photos here but if the sight of Werbeloff sporting leopard print hot pants doesn’t inflame your internal sense of justice, the former internet meme will also take on co-hosting duties for a new Channel Nine program called The Real Hustle, based on a BBC show of the same name. According to Werbeloff “It’s a show about hustles, scams and cons that go on around the world. There’s myself, a conman and an illusionist/magician. There are hidden cameras in public, and we show how people get scammed and, hopefully, teach the public how not to be scammed in the future.” Obviously, the real hustle here is how Werbeloff managed to parlay internet fame into magazine covers and television gigs in the first place. Seriously, Rick Ross is looking at that like damn.

Anyway, here’s the video that launched a thousand forgettable memes and one opportunistic media career.
