Check Out This Brooklyn Taco Joint’s Very Unfortunate Yelp Review

Food industry workers take note, the internet has some solid business advice for you: if you happen to hear the call of an ice cream truck, even if it’s a really hot day and you’re craving something cold and delicious, don’t completely abandon your restaurant with customers still inside while you hurry off to treat yo’ self. If you do, then something like this will probably happen:
Last week, a Yelp reviewer by the name of Ross F. was very displeased with the service he received at Taco Santo in Brooklyn. A Reddit user recently stumbled across his post, and now this little taco joint is becoming the internet’s most notorious eatery.
The proprietors of Taco Santo have noticed the attention and appear to be taking it in stride. Earlier today, they made a post to their Facebook timeline saying “Check out who made it on the front page of Reddit?”, along with a cry-laughing emoticon.
Frankly, they seem a little too chill about the whole thing. Was this an inside job? Were Taco Santo deliberately trying to exploit the internet’s love of terrible customer service for the sake of attention and publicity? Is Yelp user Ross F. just a company stooge?
Inquiring minds need to know. We’ll follow this thing as deep as it goes.
