The new trailer for the Australian-talent heavy horror film, Stoker, dropped last night via Empire Online and it looks pretty excellent. Directed by South Korean Chan-wook Park (OldBoy), the film looks to have his trademark visual flair, lingering brutality, and a general sense of unease.
It’s also serving as a platform to show-off three of our finest, with Nicole Kidman, Jackie Weever, and Mia Wasikowska bringing the creep to this distinctly creepy trailer. It appears as though Kidman’s plan to shun the studios in favour of seeking out meaty roles is about to pay off. Stoker also stars Matthew Goode who was last seen in the Aussie drama Burning Man.
