If you missed Married At First Sight today, you missed a bloody goodie because total babe Charlene re-dragged Dean to his man cave and back during Sunday’s commitment ceremony.
In case you’re out of the loop, there was a boys’ night and things were said about wife-swapping and such. Surprise, surprise it was all caught on camera and low and behold, Dean was at the forefront of the shit-talking. So in tonight’s commitment ceremony John being the expert he is, decided to ask Dean how he felt about the women being offended by his ‘blokey bloke’ self. Despite Charlene tearing into him the first time, Dean still has absolutely zero ragrets.
Dean: Um, well I just think people make wife-swapping and all kinds of jokes all the time (CHARLENE SCOFFS) in all different places and (TRACEY AWKWARDLY LICKS HER LIPS) whether that’s appropriate or not is up to each person’s different opinion and in the context of the night I don’t think there was any disrespect.
John: Charlene, there’s a lotta head shaking over there. (TRACEY WHIPS HER HEAD AROUND IN SHOCK THAT SOMEONE’S BEING DECENT)
Charlene: As I said, there is different standards and different qualities of men in this room, I’m glad I’ve got the one that I’ve got. (DEAN SHITS HIMSELF) I’m not gonna sit there and listen to that stuff, you know talking in negative ways about women and then go, “Let’s just remember to respect the women,” that’s not okay. That doesn’t wipe out everything that you’ve said. (DEAN SHRIVELS UP) I’m glad I spoke up, I heard that people were being spoken of dis-respectfully and I stood up and I said something and I have nothing to apologise for because I spoke on behalf of all women because you don’t speak about girls like that. And if you think that’s okay to say stuff like that on a boys’ night that you wouldn’t say in front of your partner well that’s your relationship, not mine.

Dean still doesn’t understand the concept of wrong-doing so Pat steps in, “Would you have these discussions in front of the ladies? he asked.
And Dean replied, “No, that’s why you have them at a boys’ night.” He’s so good at respecting the women.
Oh yeah, Nas and Gab called it quits but not before Nas gave an Oscar worthy performance and leaked tears. Justin and Carly also got the hell outta there ‘cos Justin is impossible to get along with and he also took part in the ‘blokey-bloke’ talk. Justin’s also “41 AND SINGLE!”
Anyway, if your browser can handle the fine roast here’s Charlene sending Dean back to the skate park. Maybe he’ll make a sad rap about it.
