Well it was fun while it lasted, but it appears that Channing Tatum and Jessie J have called it quits again, mere months after announcing to the world that they had reconciled.
A source close to the couple confirmed the split to People, saying:
“They cared enough about each other to try again but realized it was better to move on. It’s totally amicable.”
Honestly, I’m thankful that even in these troubled times, dubious anonymous sources are still doing the lord’s work and spilling the details of celebrity breakups to gossip mags.
Channing Tatum and Jessie J initially started dating in October of 2018, after his divorce from Jenna Dewan, his wife of nine years.
The first round of their relationship gave us a lot of fun, thirsty Instagram content, including a naked photo that he posted after apparently losing a game of Jenga to her.
They broke up a year later, with a source saying he was “super busy” thanks to the responsibilities of career and fatherhood. By the start of this year, though, they were back on again.
Channing Tatum announced this to the world by sharing a photo of them kissing while wearing inflatable unicorn hats, which is a very cute way to do that.
The couple has yet to officially comment on this latest breakup.
