Chance the Rapper ended 2018 like every other fucker on Instagram did: with a Story filled with highlights from the year. Only unlike said fuckers, the musician’s best moment was actually one of substance as he quite literally saved a life.

The 25-year-old revealed that last year he pulled an unconscious man out of a burning vehicle as he was heading to church over the Easter holiday.
“I was the only person out there when it first happened,” Chance explained, stating that he witnessed the car going over 90 mph and crash into into a wall. “His car was on fire so I had to break his window, take off his seatbelt, let his seat back and pull a whole grown man out [of] the car unconscious.”
Chance continued, “I was only by myself at first, then two older men helped me pull folks out the front after I got the doors open.”
Following the incident, Chance says he lost track of the man and isn’t sure how it all worked out, prompting one of his followers, who happened to be the nephew of the man, to get in touch with the rapper.
