Ch10 Confirms It’s Bringing Georgia Love Back To TV W/ Plum Presenting Gig

Georgia Love is reportedly following in the footsteps of previous Bachelorette winner Sam Frost and leveraging her reality TV fame into a full-blown media personality gig.

A spokesperson for Network Ten confirmed to PEDESTRIAN.TV that she’ll be appearing as a co-host on Studio 10 over the Christmas period.

“Georgia Love is just filling in as a co-host for one of Studio 10’s Christmas episodes which will be airing in December,” she said.
The Daily Telegraph had published unconfirmed reports that she’d be appearing as a presenter and panellist on Studio 10, while the Daily Mail also reported on “some chatter” about a Network Ten Melbourne newsreader, and “previous talk” about making appearances on The Project as a guest panellist.
The point is: the former Tassie newsreader is returning to television.

“I gave up work to do The Bachelorette which was a huge decision for me,” she recently told the Daily Tele’s Confidential. “I worked extremely hard to get the job that I had and to have a career. So to decide to do that was massive, but it was a life-changing moment and I went for it.”

Last year’s Bachelorette Sam Frost scored herself the plum gig as 2DayFM radio host alongside Aussie media stalwart Rove McManus, but the duo have struggled ratings-wise.

They filled the Kyle & Jackie O-sized hole after Sydney’s most notorious radio personalities left the station to pursue contracts worth “at least” $20 million each over at KIIS FM. They’ve also experienced a ratings dip, so who the hell knows anymore.
