Celebs Are Sharing Super Dorky Teen Pics To Raise Money For Puerto Rico

Celebrities on Twitter always seem to get accused of half-arsed, virtue-signalling gestures of support and goodwill in times of disaster or crisis, but this latest online campaign, started by Stephen Colbert, has some solid, direct monetary support attached.

On his late-night US talk show, Colbert was visited by Nick Kroll (of Parks & Rec and The League fame) who was discussing his upcoming animated Netflix series Big Mouth all about the hideous nightmare that is puberty, prompting Colbert to share a pic of himself as a dorky as hell teen:

Looking… uhh… good mate?

Agreeing to both make a donation to the relief fund for Puerto Rico, which continues to be a disaster zone after recent Hurricane Maria, the pair kicked off the hashtag #PuberMe, and hooo boy has it taken off.

Some of the celebs who have gotten involved include Jimmy Kimmel, Mark Duplass, Gina Rodriquez, Sarah Silverman, Topher Grace and there’s a butt tonne more, which is great for the lols and great for the suffering citizens of Puerto Rico.
