This is totes adorbz. Elfin English actress Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford (of & Sons fame) have tied the indie knot on a rustic working farm in Somerset, England in front of 200 guests, including Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal and Colin Firth. Probably not in attendance: Shia LeDouche, who is now a terrible comic book artist. Apparently Adele also came out of vocal rest to serenade the couple, according to NME. Hopefully she sang this, and not Rolling In The Deep:
The couple were apparently childhood pen pals in London (see, I told you it was adorable) and the ceremony was presided over by Mumford’s father (an ordained vicar) in a converted barn replete with hay bale seating. The working property is called Idyllic Stream Farm. Enough said.
There were no paparazzi present – obviously – although official wedding photography was conducted by internationally renowned British fashion photographer, Rankin, who’s previously shot Mulligan – so there are no pictures of the bride’s supposed ivory Versace gown, or Mumford’s requisite Ray Bans. Luckily for you, I’m unusually fond of magnetic lassoing so I’ve painted a little picture of the wedding below, including an image of the Idyllic Stream farm, the always-stunning Mulligan and the always-sepia Mumford.
