Baby Bardi has made her Rolling Stone cover debut in the magazine’s July issue with mum and dad posing for a bloody regal family picture. This is the couple’s first Rolling Stone cover together and second overall for the very pregnant Cardi B in less than a year which is a pretty massive achievement to hang up in the pool room.
After a crazy swarm of pregnancy rumours, Cardi gloriously announced her pregnancy in April by performing on Saturday Night Live with baby bump on full display.
Earlier today the 25-year-old posted the cover with fiancé Offset to her Instagram with the caption:
“I guess it was too much to ask to wait until the official July release of our Rolling Stone cover! This cover is so special to me and means so much! Thank you to everyone who helped put this amazing cover together! Even tho it was leaked and supposed to be in gray fuck it. My daughter made it to the Rollin Stone cover!!!! Official release in July. You can’t ruin what’s for me.”
As for that obvious shade, the goss is American blogger Karen Civil leaked the grey version of the magazine cover last night in a since-deleted tweet which very much pissed off Cardi. Cardi wrote on her Twitter, “People be out here really trying to sabotage my personal and my business life.”
Civil denied she leaked anything posting “We don’t leak on the KC site, a preview was posted/ shared by a Cardi B Facebook fan group…” in a tweet. The blogger also wrote in another tweet that Cardi’s label Atlantic Records got in contact with her to also deny the leak although it all came out as the truth just a few hours later.
Drama aside, the cover’s fab, Cardi’s fab, everything’s okay.
The issue will hit newsstands on July 2.
In other news, Cardi B sat down with Zach Galifianakis on his riveting show, Two Ferns, yesterday. The interview initially began with Jerry Seinfeld but uh, the poor bloke just couldn’t compare to one, Cardi B.
