Netflix’s bizarrely fascinating series Tiger King has taken the world by storm, becoming almost as popular a topic on social media as the coronavirus pandemic.
The show has gained a ton of fans in no time, including rapper Cardi B who has been tweeting and ‘gramming about the new docuseries.
Tiger King follows the wild story of Joe Exotic, a private zoo owner with hundreds of exotic animals who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for hiring a hitman to murder his rival, Carole Baskin.
In a series of social media posts, Cardi announced her plans to start a GoFundMe to free Exotic from prison, believing he was framed.
“They did Joe so dirty over and over again,” she tweeted.
“Bout to start a gofundme account for Joe. He shall be free.”

She also shared a viral meme that accuses Baskin, who has been largely criticised on social media, of murdering her husband.
The rapper posted a photoshopped image of Exotic, accompanied by a sign that reads: “Carole Baskin fed her husband to the tigers. Prove me wrong.”
