We were given approximately 3 minutes at the press junket for ‘Paper Towns‘ with which to work/glean some kind of something from the film’s star Cara Delevingne.
Much to our eternal shame we didn’t walk out of their ~*Friends*~ and/or casual lovers with Cara but we were able to ask about a recent tumblr post by Paper Towns author John Green in which he spoke about his attempts to destroy “the lie of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl.”
An excerpt:
“I do not know how I could have been less ambiguous about this without calling the novel The Patriarchal Lie of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl Must Be Stabbed in the Heart and Killed.”
Otherwise it was a pretty standard ‘pls only ask about the movie and avoid personal questions‘ kind of vibe, but please do enjoy watching Cara and Eyebrow Friends talk about ‘the teenage crush’ and ‘sexual content’
