‘Captain America: Civil War’ Director Bros Are Doing A Stoner Comedy Next

Look, when you make a movie that absolutely kills it at the box office on opening weekend, sometimes you wanna kick back, relax, and smoke a handsome blunt on the couch to celebrate.

Or, if you’re the Russo brothers, you start making a television series about people smoking joints on couches.
The sibling director duo have have raked in some sweet sweet cash on the opening weekend for the new ‘Captain America: Civil War’ – $181.8 million domestically, to be exact.
So how better to enjoy that goldmine than announcing their next venture – a show for Showtime, which will be about a ‘larcenous family of pot dealers’, who live in a state where marijuana has recently been legalised. And surprisingly enough, they do not adapt to their new reality well.
The show is currently untitled.
The Russo brothers will be the executive producers – which we’re assuming is going to be a casual production role in between now and the next Marvel film.
