On a landmark day for LGBT rights in the US, Caitlyn Jenner has released the second teaser for her upcoming documentary series on E!, ‘I Am Cait’.
On June 1 this year, Caitlyn Jenner made history by clocking up 1 million twitter followers in the shortest amount of time – after revealing her identity publicly for the first time, in a powerful cover for Vanity Fair magazine.
Caitlyn Jenner was praised for her contribution to lessening the stigma transgender people face today, and for giving an insight into her transition and daily life in her reality series ‘I Am Cait’- premiering next month.
In today’s promo, Jenner explains her motivation for taking part in a tell-all and reveal-all reality series, highlighting the importance of raising awareness of the struggles regularly faced by the transgender community.
“I am telling my story. People don’t understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right, putting on clothes that you really don’t identify with. This is about getting to be who you really are.”
