Stan’s New Aussie Series About A High School Girl & Her Surprise Bébé Looks Heartwarming As Hell

The countdown is on for the end of the year, mates, and despite being trapped indoors for most of 2020, I can’t bloody wait for a few weeks of lounging around on the couch and doing nothing. And for all those couch-bound days coming up, Stan has got some sick content on the way to entertain us, including new Stan Original Series, Bump.

The 10-part series centres around Oly (Nathalie Morris), a v. intelligent teen who’s killing it at school, when she suddenly pops out a bb (and I do mean suddenly), thus creating a helluva lot of drama, both at school and at home.

But mixed in with that drama is a touch of comedy and some incredibly heartfelt moments as the show explores the pitfalls of both motherhood and adolescence.

Filmed in Sydney, the brand new Australian series reunites the team behind Love My Way. It stars Claudia Karvan (Stan’s The Other Guy), who plays Oly’s mother (the esteemed actress also acts as a producer of the series). Then you’ve got Angus Sampson (Fargo), plus a whole crop of fresh talent including Nathalie Morris, Carlos Sanson Jnr, Catalina Palma, Safia Arain, Paula Garcia, Ioane Saula, Peter Thurnwald and Ricardo Scheihing Vasquez.

Peep the first trailer below:

All episodes of Stan Original Series Bump will drop on New Year’s Day, only on Stan, which is excellent ‘cos I’ll need something fun to binge watch while I’m resting off that NYE hangover.
