Things Are Looking Real Noice In The Teasers For Brooklyn Nine-Nine S6

Brooklyn Nine-Nine S6

It’s starting! NBC are beginning to drop little teasers for the highly-anticipated sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and so far, we have two very random, very good clips.

A few days ago, NBC shared the first teaser promo that picks up right where season five dropped off. The Nine-Nine are gathered at Shaw’s Bar, seemingly in the aftermath of hearing Holt’s commissioner email results. Jake is somewhat dancing around Holt despite the very real judgement from Amy, Gina, Terry, Rosa, and even his beloved best friend Charles.

So either a) Holt got the job and everyone’s happy but also sad so Jake’s trying to lift the mood or b) Holt didn’t get the job and Jake is trying to cheer up his father figure.

Also in the trailer? Some serious Die Hard gun gear.

And then you have today’s tiny, tiny promo shared to the Brooklyn Nine-Nine Twitter account. It’s literally five seconds long but does the job… and by job I mean completely hype you up because WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

Jake and Amy’s honeymoon? Why is Captain/Commissioner Holt there? Why is it not 2019 yet?

THEORY TIME: I reckon Holt didn’t get the commissioner job so Jake – feeling bad – invited him on the honeymoon.

One thing’s for sure, they’re really keeping the commissioner job under wraps:

According to Terry Crews, who sort of leaked the release date last week, Brooklyn Nine-Nine will apparently return to NBC in January 2019 which is not too far away at all. Crews, on set, had been filming himself on Instagram Live when he spilled the beans. Although Brooklyn Nine-Nine or NBC have yet to officially comment on Crews’ video.

Season six will be an 18-episode extravaganza which will include a special Hitchcock and Scully episode and a #MeToo ep.

In Australia, the all-new season will be fast-tracked to SBS Viceland so you won’t have to dodge Twitter/Instagram/literally anything else for all the spoilers.

January 2019, folks.
