‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Cast Share First Blessed Photos After Returning To Work

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has resumed filming for the first time after the series was saved by NBC, and the first photos from the set are, honestly, too joyful for this world.

The cast of the beloved cop sitcom, which was unceremoniously axed by original network Fox earlier this year, has shared some justifiably triumphant content from the set.

Take these absolute pearlers from star Andy Samberg, featuring godsends Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Melissa Fumero, and the perpetually-jacked Terry Crews:

Or this relaxed look at Gina Linetti‘s kicks and desk, courtesy of Peretti:

And another look at the kind of insane caffeination required to keep a television show operational:

Behold, too, the satisfied face of Joe Lo Truglio, who not only managed to keep his job but was also rewarded with ice cream:

Old mate even shared a sharper image of wardrobe preparation, too:

And old mate Joel McKinnon Miller, whose flat-top gives Detective Norm Scully some extra gravitas, also gave a grin:

While it’s all well and good gazing upon those lovely faces at the minute, it’ll be a while before Brooklyn Nine-Nine officially returns to screens. It’s expected to premiere mid-season in the US, meaning sometime in early 2019 – at the earliest.
