Brooke Lynn Hytes, the breakout star of this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, is now the breakout star of her own meme, after a scene-stealing performance involving a fruity cocktail and a fort made of couch cushions.

We’re getting towards the pointy end of the competition now, and the atmosphere was extremely tense during this week’s Untucked, as the queens retreated backstage to await the judges’ verdict and tear strips off one another.
In a series of increasingly nonsensical clashes, Yvie Oddly came for Silky Ganache, then Ra’Jah O’Hara came for Plastique Tiara, but while the girls were competing for screen time, Brooke managed to snatch the spotlight by quietly getting tipsy on the couch:

I’m pretty sure the queens only get one drink each when they go backstage for Untucked, so I question how drunk Brooke could have actually been, but if she was sober then this video is all the more iconic. Bonus points for giving me my new life motto, “can’t we just bottle our feelings like normal people?”
Eight queens remain in Season 11 of Drag Race, and the fan-favourite challenge Snatch Game, which is sure to be as big a mess as ever, is happening next week. Brooke Lynn Hytes and Yvie Oddly appear to be the current front-runners, but the game is far from over.
