This family, honestly. The drama knows no end. I know some of you are like “Pedestrian whyyyyyy are you writing about the Kardashians for the love of god stop” but then also you clicked on the story, so you must care on a deeper level, right?
The latest Kardashian-Jenner related controversy, if you care, has come courtesy of some piping hot tea Brody Jenner just spilled everywhere. (Quick explainer if you’re not up with the family tree: Brody is Caitlyn Jenner‘s son from back before the Kris Jenner era, making him the older half-brother of Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Follow? You follow.)
Anyway, Brody is about to get hitched to his fiancée Kaitlynn Carter in Bali, and he says Kendall and Kylie will not be there on his big day. In fact, he tells People they never even responded to the invite.
My two little sisters, we never even heard from them. They never even RSVP’d I don’t think. We sent them an invite but we just never heard anything back. They’ll be missed. I would have loved to have had them there.
Ouch.
To be fair, Kylie just had a baby and Kendall is a jetsetting top model, but the least they could do is respond. Brody told the publication that Caitlyn won’t be attending either, but according to People‘s sources she had “work commitments that have been set up for months and couldn’t be changed in the end… everything is good between them”.
Adding to the drama, HollywoodLife is claiming that Brody didn’t invite his former stepsister Kim Kardashian to the nuptials. A source told the outlet:
Kim invited Brody to her wedding, he didn’t come, but she did extend the gesture of an invite. So, you’d think he’d have the same sort of courtesy for her. If it wasn’t clear before, now it is crystal clear to Kim which side of the family is team Caitlyn and who is team Kris.
In case you forgot, Kim did not invite his partner Kaitlynn to her 2014 wedding, leading Brody to boycott the whole affair. Personally I wouldn’t have missed the union of Kimye for the world, that shit is iconic.
