Breakfast Host Calls Cara Delevingne “Carla”, Things Go Downhill From There

Model-turned-actress and perpetually excellent human being Cara Delevingne is in the midst of doing press for her movie Paper Towns, and her most recent stop was the morning show Good Day Sacramento.
Since you’re reading about it here on the other side of the world, you might well assume that it went really well, or not very well at all – depending on your perspective, it was both.
The eerily chipper host started off on the wrong foot by calling Cara “Carla”, then opened with an in-hindsight probably fairly patronising question about whether she’d actually read the book upon with the movie was based.
Cara dryly lobbed that one back across the net, saying she didn’t bother to read the book, or even the script, because she prefers to wing it, but the hosts clearly weren’t feeling her aloof demeanour, as things went downhill from there.
A third host appeared and began commenting on Delevingne’s energy level, noting that she seemed “more excited” in previous interviews, and asking if she was “exhausted” by promoting the film.
She jokingly told them that the early hour might have had something to do with it (Cara might not be a #morningperson), but the hosts persisted, one asking if she seemed “a bit irritated”, or if it was “just us.”
“I think it’s just you,” said Cara, before the interview was cut short, with one of the hosts telling her to take a nap or have a Red Bull. “She was in a MOOD,” the Joan Calamezzo-like anchor said, misinterpreting the situation, after the feed cut out.
We’re calling this one for Team Cara TBH:
We caught up with Cara when she was in Australia recently, and a lovely time was had by all:
