Bran Stark Returning To ‘GoT’, Is Taller And Hopefully More Interesting

The thing about child actors is that they tend to grow up really f’kn fast – take Game Of Thrones star Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who will return in the sixth season as Bran Stark and is a lot taller now than when we last saw him.

Bran made his last appearance at the end of season four, north of The Wall, where he met the mystical Three-Eyed Raven, and was told that he will never walk again, but that he will fly.
Hempstead-Wright was absent for the whole of the fifth season, and Entertainment Weekly recently shared a glimpse of him as he appears in the new episodes in their ‘First Look’ issue:

Needless to say, the actor, now aged 16, has grown a lot in that time. EW report that he is now six feet tall, which still a lot shorter than Kristian Nairn, who is six-foot-eight, but it’s safe to say that the days of Hodor carrying Bran are probably behind us.
Also, his hair is shorter now. Did he warg into Hodor, cut his own hair and warg out again? Did the White Walkers cut it in his sleep? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THAT?
I guess we’ll find out when the show returns in April.
