Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 doesn’t arrive in cinemas until 2017, but Bradley Cooper, a.k.a. Rocket Raccoon, a.k.a. a guy with a lot on his plate and zero fucks to give about spoilers, may have just revealed a key plot point.
It has already been confirmed that the second Guardians film will reveal the identity of Peter Quill (Chris Pratt)’s dad, but Cooper may have let this information slip early, during a recent press junket.
When asked who the villain of Guardians 2 will be, Cooper responded:
“Josh Brolin’s the villain, no? Or he’s the main villain, no? He was in the first one, he played whatshisname’s dad. You know who I’m talking about? The Dark-Lord… the main guy.”
Either Cooper has got his Ronans and Star-Lords confused, which is plausible, or he has just fucked up by revealing a major plot point from an upcoming Marvel blockbuster, which is also somewhat plausible.
Whatever the answer may be, watching Cooper’s Burnt co-star Sienna Miller attempt to dig him out of his self-created hole, while he just burrows deeper and deeper, is pretty priceless.
