History always has a way of repeating itself, doesn’t it? So when Brad Pitt was spotted at Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday bash earlier this year, following his split from Angelina Jolie, punters took this to mean that rekindling the flame was only a matter of time.
Despite the party being back in February, the Brad and Jennifer discussion is still the talk of Hollywood and some sneaky paps recently asked the actor to clarify what’s going on during a street encounter.
“I gotta ask you, everyone wants to know, are you and Jen getting back?” The cameraman asked a casual Brad.
The question induced a chuckle from Pitt who then responded, “Oh, my God,” before getting into his swanky vehicle.
So does that mean the idea of the pair getting back together is laughable to him or is he nervous that everyone’s onto them or is he simply just shook that people are still thinking about it?
Head on over to goss lovers Entertainment Weekly for the footage.
Following Pitt’s appearance at Aniston’s birthday party, a source told the publication that he “wanted to support” her because the former couple have “been friendly” in the years since their highly publicised divorce in 2005.
“Jen and Brad have remained friends and have spoken with each other quite a few times since they both became single. They are friends and have supported each other through some tough times,” the source noted.
“They’ve come so far since their marriage and plan to stay friends for life. There are truly no hard feelings between them.”
In Aniston’s recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she admitted that she has “zero time” for dating.
“Am I on OkCupid? No. I have zero time, to be honest. My focus has been on the show, so dating has not been one of my first priorities,” she said. “I feel like whatever [romance] looks like, it will present itself, and it’s not about seeking it out, you know?”
Despite this, those of us stuck in the noughties still hold out hope for the return of Brad and Jen.
