By The Sea, written and directed by Angelina Jolie, sees her appear on-screen with her gentleman friend Brad Pitt for the first time since Mr And Mrs Smith, although this film looks decidedly artier in nature.
The lush new trailer, released overnight, shows the two highly good-looking individuals smoking, lounging listlessly in expensive hotel rooms, tossing back pills, fighting, crying and displaying high-levels of rich people angst.
Per the official plot summary:
Set in France during the mid-1970s, Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland, an American writer, travel the country together. They seem to be growing apart, but when they linger in one quiet, seaside town they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local bar/café-keeper and a hotel owner.
