Call it good luck. Call it magnificent career timing. Call it just good old plain fashioned hustle. Whatever the case, the Full House reunion series has just about nailed it in the casting department.
The at one time maybe happening, then definitely on series has already brought back a tonne of original names like John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber. In fact, the Fuller House casting news has already had a big day, with Lori Laughlin revealed this morning to be back on board, bringing Aunt Becky back to Netflix screens for the new series.
And this afternoon the last major holdout has been confirmed. Thanks to Stamos’ Twitter account, it’s now set in stone that Bob Saget will be heading back to San Francisco to pull on the pastel sweater of Danny Tanner one more time.
Last but not least-best piece of casting yet. The great @bobsaget will be joining our show on @netfilx – this completes the perfect reunon!

This means that the entire original core cast of the much beloved 90s sitcom have all signed on for the reunion special – with the notable exception of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who have well and truly retired from acting.
I guess that makes this cast less of a Full House and more of a Flush.
The reunion series will circle around DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibler and DJ’s kids.
Expect to see it hit Netflix screens at some point next year.
