Actor Bob Odenkirk‘s family have given an update on his health after he suddenly collapsed on set due to experiencing a “heart-related incident”.

Odenkirk, who is famously known for his role as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, collapsed on set in Los Angeles on Thursday. He was shooting for the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul at the time.

Thankfully, his castmates and crew immediately called an ambulance after he collapsed.

Today, representatives for Odenkirk have confirmed that the beloved actor is now in a “stable condition” surrounded by loved ones.

“We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident,”
the statement read.

“He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side.

“The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”

And just to offer you that extra bit of reassurance, Bob Odenkirk’s son Nate has also tweeted out that his father is going to be ok.

Back to scheduled programs everyone, we don’t have to worry anymore (at least for now).

Yesterday, when it was announced that Bob Odenkirk was rushed to hospital, there a massive outpouring of love from people online.

The main consensus here was that if anything bad was the happen to Odenkirk, we’d all be mustering up our forces for a war with God.

“Let’s all please keep our Godfather Bob Odenkirk in our thoughts tonight as it appears he’s in the hospital! Love you bob!” wrote comedian Tim Heidecker.

“Hopefully he was just dehydrated or something I cannot deal with a world in which Bob Odenkirk is experiencing suffering,” wrote stand-up comedian Kath Barbadoro.

We wish Bob Odenkirk a speedy recovery.
