Blake Lively Calls ‘Simple Favour’ Co-Star A ‘Hotter Version’ Of Her Hubby

Real life every woman Serena van der Woodsen Blake Lively is in the midst of shamelessly plugging her new flick A Simple Favour ahead of its release later this year.

You’ll recall that last month she totally decluttered her Instagram – deleting all posts, unfollowing almost everyone including her one true love, Ryan Reynolds, and then following only 36 people called Emily Nelson – in a marketing stunt for the movie, in which she plays one such enigmatic Ms Nelson. She used the clean page, with the tag “What happened to Emily?” to post a teaser for the film, directed by comedy genius Paul Feig, and also starring Anna Kendrick.

The plot as we know it seems to be that the mysterious Emily Nelson disappears suddenly – and Kendrick becomes obsessed with finding her, and the dark truth about her.

Within days, Lively’s ‘Gram returned to its former glory, all very glam publicity shots and galas and macarons and the very handsome Mr Reynolds, complete with self-deprecating captions. And now she follows but two accounts: her beau, and @hope.for.emily. Soz Emily Nelsons of Instagram.

The latest post from Lively is this, accompanied by the v cheeky caption: “@annakendrick47 is the hotter, female(r) version of my husband… so, would it reaaaally count as cheating??

Of course, both Kendrick and Reynolds had something to say about THAT.

And there we have yet another example of the cheeky but deeply loving way Reynolds and Lively relate to each other on the line, i.e. barbs ‘n bants, and all this only a little over a week after Lively cyber-hit on Reynolds’ totally 100% real, yes, twin brother, Gordon on her husband’s Insta.

Love is grand, eh?

A Simple Favour is in cinemas September 20.
