Billie Eilish Granted Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker Who Camps Out Near Her LA Home

Billie Eilish has been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker who she says has been camping out near her family’s Los Angeles home, and throwing frightening notes across the fence.

The 19-year-old singer said that 23-year-old John Hearle has been perching on the fence of a school near her family’s residence and attempting to look inside.

She also claimed that he has threatened and harassed her and that he makes throat-slitting gestures when he sees her. In a request to the LA county court, she said his presence has caused:

“… emotional injury including fear for my safety, fear for the safety of my family, and loss of my sense of peace and tranquility and security in my home and personal space resulting from the repeated instances of harassment.”

She also said:

“I no longer feel safe going outside my home and enjoying basic physical exercise in my neighbourhood, as he could attempt to approach and hurt me … Every time I see him I just want to scream.”

In June of 2020, a court granted a restraining order to Billie Eilish after a man visited her home seven times and displayed erratic behaviour.
