Bill Murray, Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Alec Baldwin Unite In Trailer For “Aloha”

What do you get when you throw in a diverse range of Hollywood’s biggest names (age-wise, not racially – this is still Hollywood, keep up), add in Cameron Crowe‘s signature affinity for Manic Pixie Dream Girls, a lil bit of Cold War Kids, a filming location that aligns perfectly with Lost but also happens to embody Lost’s polar opposite premise, and a trailer brimming with beautiful people to distract you from what appears to be fairly lacklustre, over-baked sentiment? The upcoming film ‘Aloha’, that’s what.

Look, maybe it’s not that bad—reasons why I’m being a douchebag of a critic at this early point are unbeknownst to even I—but I guess I’m just feeling hard for Cameron Crowe: a career that started with ‘Jerry Maguire’ and ‘Almost Famous’ has descended into ‘We Bought A Zoo’ (harmless film, I’m sure, but pls) and now ‘Aloha’: a film that just doesn’t seem likely to kill it, but is so beautifully cast that it will be watched by all, myself unashamedly included, because how can you say no to Alec Baldwin, Bill Murray, Emma Stone, John Krasinski, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper and Danny McBride?

You can’t. Enjoy.
