Twitter is a wonderful website, but my favourite type of Twitter account is one that specialises in one, very specific thing. I love @bearsacthuman, @outofcontextdesperatehousewives and well, really anything that niches in on a specific topic and absolutely nails it. So naturally I was stoked to see that someone has made an entire account dedicated to Bill Hader dancing.
The @billhaderdancin account has been making the rounds for about a month now, posting its first tweet on September 17. But despite only being around for a matter of weeks, ‘bill hader dancing to’ has gone absolutely viral, and it’s well deserved.
Twitter has a real habit of taking something really normal and turning it into a viral meme, and even SNL comedian Bill Hader hasn’t been able to escape the wrath of people on Twitter with too much time on their hands.
Applying the ‘keep it simple’ principle, the account uses the same clip of Bill Hader dancing from the ‘Alan’ SNL skit, and adds music from your favourite artists to create an absolutely marvellous piece of content.

There are a plethora of glorious Bill Hader dancing tweets, but I’ve managed to narrow it down to some of my personal favourites. I’m not quite sure how this piece of footage works with every song imaginable. Obviously, the clip is cut up and mixed together differently for each track, but it’s still really fucking impressive. But regardless, @billhaderdancin has provided me with endless hours of entertainment and I felt compelled to share it with you all.
