Here’s A Haunting Vid Of The Abandoned Big Brother House At The Gold Coast

Big Brother

Aussie YouTuber MuiTube specialises in exploring abandoned and decaying buildings, and his latest video is a real hit of nostalgia. In it, he sneaks into the old Big Brother house at the Gold Coast, to find the once-colourful residence in a state of disrepair.

The start of the fifteen-minute video finds him entering the compound to find the yard overgrown with grass and weeds. The swimming pool, once a key feature of the house, is a stagnant pond, and the walls are covered in graffiti from previous visitors.

Travelling deeper into the building, we see the creepy hallways where cameras would film the Big Brother housemates, and the shower room as well as the famous Diary Room, both of which are now filled with shattered glass.

In the video, MuiTube says that the house has so many different nooks and crannies that it’s difficult to keep track of where he has been. You can go ahead and check out the whole thing below:

The Australian Big Brother filmed in a purpose-built compound at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. The original ran from 2001 to 2008 on Ten, and Nine picked the show up for an additional two seasons between 2013 and 2014.
