The Trailer For Big Brother 2021 Just Dropped & Yep, Flex Mami Is Entering The House This Year

The trailer for the new season of Big Brother Australia for 2021 has just dropped and… hey, wait a minute! I recognise some of those faces!!

First things first: the house looks pretty frickin’ similar last year’s house. But in 2021, the Big Brother house is being billed as having “more rooms [and] more secrets”.

“This year, Big Brother is bringing you more than meets the eye,” the announcement read.

But it was the contestants who stole the show trailer. That’s because this year is set to feature a whole bunch of famous faces.

Seeing Flex Mami strutting through the trailer means the season’s already off to a killer start, but it wasn’t quite a surprise. In fact, the DJ/presenter/card game mogul/all-round icon was actually papped on set earlier this year.

Big Brother intrigues me, my life is one big social game,” Flex said in the clip.

The Daily Telegraph reports she’ll be joined by fashionista Sarah Jane Adams and fitness influencer Katie Williams.

Meanwhile, TV Blackbox also spotted magician and comedian Christopher Wayne in among the contestants, who forms one half of The Naked Magicians duo.

It’ll be interesting to see who else is being roped into the house in the coming weeks.

What can we expect the gameplay to be like? Well, pretty similar to last season, if this tiny snippet – all two minutes and 30 seconds of it – is anything to go by.

There’ll still be physical challenges which appear to still be taking place in the basement, but there was also an outdoor challenge area teased, as pictured above.

It’s also likely that there’ll still be that Survivor-style gameplay where everyone frets over who’s voting for who, too.

While that was a bit of a lowlight of the last season, hopefully the producers (and contestants) have learned the lessons of 2020.

Still no word about a release date, though. When one commenter on Insta asked when we would get to watch the new season, all we got was this ominous answer:

Good things take time.
