If Benedict Cumberbatch could use one adjective to describe himself, it would be “professional.”
The actor was booked to appear on Kimmel overnight, and the small fact that the actor got married over the weekend, and should therefore be honeymooning it up in some exotic locale somewhere, did not stop him from meeting this obligation.
Feeling bad about the situation, Kimmel threw him a fake honeymoon, complete with a tropical background and some fancy-arse beverages. The ever-stoic Cumberbatch did a good job of pretending the whole thing wasn’t excruciatingly awkward for him.
While on the show, Cumberbatch also revealed that he has recently finished shooting the Sherlock Christmas special, which will air at a time this year that shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out.
