Bec Zemek Reckons MAFS Had To Shut Down Production After Bryce Non-Consensually Kissed Her

In last night’s episode of Married At First Sight, serial fuckboy and most-hated-man-in-the-experiment Bryce Ruthven planted a clearly non-consensual kiss on the cheek of Bec Zemek. And as you’d probably expect, shit hit the fan immediately after.

You can read our recap here for the full play-by-play of what went down, but basically, Bryce tried to apologise, called Bec a “queen” and went in for a smooch on the cheek, only to be absolutely obliterated shortly thereafter for being gross and inappropriate.

Following last night’s shit show, Bec appeared on 2Day’s The Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed Erin to discuss exactly what went down.

Throughout the interview, Bec confirmed that the kiss was non-consensual and unwelcome and that she “didn’t want him near me to begin with.”

“It only showed one angle last night but my face said it all,” she said.

In case you missed it, Bec’s face looked a *little* something like this.

But Bec, who clearly isn’t taking shit from anyone – especially Bryce Fkn Ruthven – didn’t just let it slide. No.

During the interview, Bec alleged that the ordeal was so severe that she asked to see the contracts she signed with Nine (the owner of this publication).

“Bring the contracts up and find out what your rights are because I didn’t sign up for this,” she explained to Hughesy, Ed and Erin.

Honestly, I don’t blame Bec for taking this shit seriously because I’m sure every woman reading this has had some douchey guy like Bryce try to plant a kiss on her at some point in her life, and let me tell you, it’s not a nice feeling.

“Where do we draw the line?” she asked.

Bec also alleged that the situation was so intense that they ended up having to shut production for a day while everyone cooled off.

“We shut production down from this for the next day.”
