Amid rumblings that Nick Cummins is in the process of wooing chicken heiress, Lucy Steggles, there’s a rumour floating around that Honey Badger’s little bro, Jacob, is dating none other than fourth-place Bachie angel, Cass Wood.

So says Woman’s Day‘s source, a ‘close friend’ of the pair – the kind of close friend who spills details of personal life to the media.

‘Could well have’! Not the same as ‘has’, but fuck it, close enough.
You’ll recall that when Nick’s fam turned up in episode five to interrogate the girls, Jacob was there and spent plenty of time talking to Wood, who was stoked to see someone with prior knowledge of her on-off thing with Badge.
“It’s really good having you here; having met you before, it feels comfortable for me,” Wood told Jacob during the ep.
We later saw Jacob again as part of the fun fam time chats in the finale: you remember, the ones where they all effectively said “Where’s Brooke?” ad nauseam.
Alright source, what else have you got? “They’re waiting for all the show’s hype to die down before they make any announcement on the status of their relationship, but Nick couldn’t be happier for them.“
We are sure the 31-year-old Honey Badger does not mind at all that his 25-year-old brother is dating 24-year-old Wood, a woman with whom he went on just a few dates both in real life and on the telly. At least if this was all true it would definitively shut down the BS story that Wood and Nick have rekindled their thing since filming.
Apparently, Jacob and Wood started off as friends, the younger Cummins listening to her presumably go on and on about her heartbreak, before their feelings for each other blossomed. Since then they’ve been meeting up with each other both in Sydney and up in Queensland.
They don’t want to cause a big fuss, especially as Cass’ feelings [for Nick] were strong for such a long time.
It’s only a matter of time before fans start suspecting though, as they’re already on a picture-liking spree on Instagram!
