Married Bloke With A Preggo Wife Says ‘Bachie’ Producers Asked Him To Sign Up

The spice-lovers over at Channel 10 are currently on the hunt for blokes to sign up for this year’s season of The Bachelorette.

According to an application on the show’s website, potential contestants must be between the ages of 23 and 40, available for 12 weeks of filming and, perhaps most importantly, SINGLE.

But sadly the producers forgot about that last part when poaching dudes on Instagram as a married man with a pregnant girlfriend was reportedly offered a role on the dating series.

A Perth man by the name of Corey Adamson was invited to audition for the show by a Warner Bros. staffer who slid into his DMs.

“Apologies for the message out of the blue,” the message reads. “I’m a casting producer at Warner Brothers and we are currently searching for single men for the next season of The Bachelorette.”

“We think you look great so wondering if this may be something you might be interested in? If so, let me know and I can give you more deets.”

The real estate agent shared the DM to his Instagram Story and tagged his friend who just happened to be a former Bachelor star, Nikki Gogan.

Nikki then shared the post to her own IG Story and wrote, “I wonder what your beautiful pregnant wife would say?”

The producer apologised to Adamson for the mistaken identity, asking him to “please disregard my message” with a laughing emoji.

While his Insta is now on private, Daily Mail reports that there were photos of his pregnant wife peppered throughout his page which means that the producer clearly didn’t do his / her due diligence when scoping him out.

Nice to know there’s a bloke out there who won’t sell his soul, or at least his wife and forthcoming spawn, for reality TV fame.
