‘Bachie’ Matty J Breaks From Dating 10 Women To Get Behind Marriage Equality

Mr Man With Abs, Matty J, who is currently dating 22 ten gorgeous women on national television, has taken to Instagram to encourage his followers to enrol to vote, or to update their details with the AEC, ahead of the upcoming postal vote on marriage equality.

Matty is firmly in the ‘Yes’ camp, aka the correct camp some (we) might say: “Not every Australian will get the chance to date 22 people on national TV but they should all have the opportunity to marry the person they love and be treated equally under the law,” he wrote.

The post has already scored over 14K likes and almost 200 very love-y comments from thirsty fans.

We are choosing not to point out that the entire ‘Bachelor‘ franchise internationally has failed pretty hard when it comes to diversity of sexuality, never ever having an openly queer person as the Bachelor/Bachelorette – even as last year’s winner Alex Nation, and fellow contestants Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon went on to date other women.

And let us never forget Natalie, the ‘Bachie’ contestant who “turned straight” for Matty J. ~shudders~

Still, it is definitely great to have someone with such a massive platform use their influence to push Australia into the future. Thanks mate.

And if you are one of the estimated 279K young people who are missing from the electoral roll, you’ve got until midnight on Thursday to get your shit into the AEC. Do it! Do it now!
