You can tell a lot from a person’s Instagram, for instance if you look at mine you can tell that I drink heaps of beers, because there’s heaps of pictures of beers on it.
From looking at former ‘Bachelorette‘ contestant Rhys Chilton‘s you could potentially learn two things: firstly that he has an incredible body, and secondly that he has a pet tiger. One of these things is true (that body don’t lie).
Why is there a photoshopped picture of Rhys with a tiger? For the most ancient of reasons: internet trolling.
After a fan commented on a photo saying it would look good if he was cuddling a kitten, he obliged:
“I posted it without the kitten, a girl commented that it it would be cuteness overload, so I quickly deleted it and reposted it with the kitten and thats what started it all.”
Because this is the internet, people lost their minds at what was clearly a joke, so Rhys responded in the only appropriate way – doing it again. This time, with puppies:
After the puppies one elicited similar amounts of outrage from weirdos who were convinced that he was trying to pass these off as actual photos of human-animal interaction, he then stepped up his game to the tiger photo, because surely now people would realise that he’s doing it as a joke.
So far it looks like it’s going well:
His Photoshop skills are pretty good for someone that looks like they could easily beat me up, so how are we meant to trust that any animal picture he posts is genuine? We can’t:
“I guess you won’t know, that will be the fun of it. No, the animals will start getting crazier and crazier. I went with a tiger this time, but at first I was going to go with an aardvark, start at ‘A’ and work my way through.”
