Bachelorette Ali Oetjen Has Considered Removing Her Implants To Find True Love

Australia‘s newest Bachelorette Ali Oetjen has given a candid interview with KIIS 1065’s Jackie and Beau, spilling on everything from how she feels about the Honey Badger‘s shenanigans on The Bachelor (she can empathise) to why she wishes she’d never got breast implants.

Sating everyone’s absolute thirst for juicy goss, Ali also took the time to address the whole brouhaha between her and former partner Grant Kemp.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the pair got together on the Bachelor In Paradise series this year, with Ali even moving to LA to be with the US-based bloke.

Things turned sour shortly after she made the move, however, and the pair split. Grant has consistently accused Ali of cheating on him with one of his friends.

Throughout it all, she’s maintained a dignified silence. Today, when asked if there was any truth to the rumours, she explained:

I’ve chosen not to address it. I don’t want to give it any oxygen, because it’s private, and I thought it would stay in that relationship. But obviously he wants to ride this wave with me and he’s making the most of it, so good on him.

Of course I’ve been upset, very upset. For people to say those nasty things about you and for it to be all open to everyone’s opinion is really hard.

Beau asked if she was mortified to hear the rumours when they first started circulating, to which Ali replied:

Not mortified – it’s just a distrust thing, and that’s why I haven’t come out with my side of the story either. Because that would just be retaliating hate with hate.

She also confirmed that the issue does get addressed on this season of The Bachelorette.

On a different note, Ali opened up about regretting her plastic surgery, saying that her breast implants end up attracting the wrong kind of men, and sending the wrong kind of message to young girls.

I don’t want to change myself for anyone, and that’s what I learned the hard way. I want to influence young girls as well, especially in this day and age where Instagram is so influential.

I feel less confident with [the implants], definitely. Because I feel like I’m judged on them. I know I’m a good person, and I’ve got a lot to give – and I want to be judged on that.

As for the bit of biff we’ve seen in the promos for the show, Ali says that while she doesn’t condone violence, it was “kind of nice” to have blokes fighting over her. Fair enough!

The first ep of The Bachelorette airs tonight at 7:30 on Channel 10.
