‘Bachie’ Cast-Off Sam Has Spoken After Sophie Called Him “Full Of Shit”

Bachelorette evictee Sam Cochrane has responded to Sophie Monk’s claim “he’s full of shit” about his time in the mansion, taking to Instagram to combat what he calls the “part truths” shown on-screen.

After Cochrane claimed that a grouse kiss between the pair was cut from the show by producers, Monk said the “peck” in question involved him actually grabbing her head – and that “it made me feel really uncomfortable, so if [producers] cut it out, that’s why.”

Cut to yesterday, and Cochrane came back with a bit more to say on the whole saga.

He uploaded a clip of him sitting next to his ma, as they performed a piano rendition of Billy Joel’s She’s Always A Woman; in the clip’s caption, he said the footage was shot the night he was kicked out of the Bachelorette digs.

What came next was a defence of his portrayal, as he said “negativity has begun since getting out and I was about to defend myself with evidence. Only part truths made it to the screen and I know the truth in my heart.”

It’s unclear what exactly Cochrane meant by “evidence” here, but performing a ballad and uploading it to the ‘Gram doesn’t seem to counter Monk’s assertion “he was performing for the cameras.”

Five contenders remain in the show. Keep tabs on their social media accounts just in case Monk decides to dunk on them, too.
