Here’s hoping Network Ten have learnt their lesson from last year’s queerbaiting controversy and aren’t having us on – because the latest trailer for Bachelor In Paradise features what looks like a spicy kiss between Alex Nation and Brooke Blurton.

ICYMI, last year a shot of Megan Marx was part of promo for the show, where she was kissing someone with long brown hair in the water. The edit made it look set to be fellow contestant Elora Murger, but it turned out to be a dude with long hair. Ten were slammed for queerbaiting, so if this kiss isn’t legit – there’ll be hell to pay.

Both Alex Nation and Brooke Blurton have been open about their bisexuality, so naturally there has been chatter as to whether they’ll be attracted to each other. Both are pretty sporty and chill, it COULD happen – but also just because they’re into women doesn’t mean they will automatically want to bone the only other bisexual woman on the island!
Also important to note – Alex’s ex Richie Strahan is headed to Fiji too. Their promo involves a lot of sparks (the bad kind) flying over their tumultuous breakup.
Here’s something I DO know – this season looks infinitely more batshit than the last. Hell yeah.
